WizzAir expands in Romania
WizzAir decided to expand its operations in several Romanian cities by growing its fleet and introducing new routes. As of June 12, 2010, WizzAir will launch new flights from Timisoara, Cluj Napoca and Bucharest.
WizzAir opens route from Paris to Gdansk
The Hungarian lowcost airline, WizzAir, has announced a new route starting with December 18, departing from Gdansk, Poland to Paris Beauvais. Wizz Air will fly between Gdansk and Paris Beauvais two times every week, flights which will be operated by a Airbus A320 of Wizz Air.

No more check-in desks at Ryanair
While Ryanair’s fees on baggages are on the rise, the low-cost airline is set to remove all of its airport check-in desks next week. Beginning with Thursday of next week, all passengers travelling with Ryanair will have to check-in online, on Ryanair’s website, starting with 15 days prior to their scheduled flight or at least 4 hours before the trip.
British Airways becomes a budget airline
Those flying with British Airways will have to pay if they want a particular seat on their flight, representatives of the airline declared. The charges for a seat will affect those people looking to sit near the window or near the aisle, those wanting to sit together or on seats next to emergency exits.
