Inside Virgin America’s Airbus A320

We haven’t had to chance to fly with Virgin America and while we’re eagerly waiting to do so, our friend David from AirlineReporter.com got a chance to experience their on-board services while flying from Seattle (SEA) to San Francisco (SFO) with an Airbus A320 aka “Air Colbert”. Here’s how flying with Virgin America looks like:

Virgin America has probably the best in-flight entertainment system that includes chat, music (with 3000 mp3’s) and internet movies. Apart from that, you also get premium content, like new movies and TV shows that you can easily purchase.

Virgin America doesn’t offer on-board catering, but you have the option to buy drinks or a meal through this screen installed on the back of every seat.

Once you have selected your meal and/or drink, you make the payment through the same screen, by swiping your credit card through the device.
