Ethiopian Airline plane crashes into the sea
A plane belonging to Ethiopian Airlines has crashed into the Mediterranean sea shortly after taking off from Beirut airport. The plane carried 89 people to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Air New Zealand is Airline of the Year
Air New Zealand recently was given the title of Airline of the Year for 2010 by Air Transport World. The aviation magazine said the airline’s financial performance fiscal management during one of the most troublesome times in aviation history are the reasons it received the award.
Plans for world’s highest airport
China has announced plans to build the highest airport in the world, in Tibet. The Nagqu Dagring Airport will be located at altitude of 14,553ft. This new airport is expected to top Bamda Airport, another airport in Tibet located at 335ft.

AirAsia and JetStar announced on Wednesday they will form an alliance that could literally change the Asian lowcost flying market. The first alliance ever between two lowcost airlines is expected to save the companies millions of dollars in costs.

New lowcost airlines for Bulgarians
