If you’ve traveled with a lowcost airline before, you might have come across its sometimes absurd fees once or twice. From fees for checking in online to printing your boarding pass at the airport, some airlines will go out of their way to squeeze that extra buck. Ryanair is planning on increasing its fees starting October to a few that cost more than your actual plane ticket.
From next month, you’ll have to pay £15 instead of £10 for checking in a bag online, and £30 instead of £20 for doing it at the airport. However, Ryanair said passengers can carry two baggages of up to 33lbs (15kg) before being charged of £15 a kilogram for the extra weight.
These baggage fees are all avoidable by all passengers who choose to travel with carry-on luggage only. Over 70 per cent of Ryanair passengers will be totally unaffected by these changes as they already travel with just one carry-on bag, which is free of charge,” a spokesman for the company said.

Carrying your instrument is sometimes more expensive than an actual person. How odd.
