Snow affects travelers in Europe

There’s a snowstorm throughout most of Europe. If you’re flying to, from or around Europe you might want to check your flight twice before heading for the airport.

Hundreds of passengers had to spend their night in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport because dozens of cancelled flights yesterday and today. French traffic controlers made airlines cancel a third of their flights.

Northern France is also affected by a severe snowstorm that cause several roads to close. In Belgium, train transportation had to be cancelled.

In London, Luton and Gatwick airports are closed until further notice, flights are cancelled and passengers stranded in airports.
