Air Canada adds WiFi to its flights

Air Canada will be offering in-flight WiFi, starting with the Holiday season this year. The service will first be implemented for testing purposes, to see how things go.

This is the first Canadian airline that offers this services to its passengers. So if you’re flying from Montreal and Toronto to Los Angeles, you will have access to this service named Gogo but only when you’re over the United States.

The test will last until January and it’s not free of charge. Be prepared to pay $10 for your laptop and $8 for your smartphone if you want to surf the web while flying.

Inflight internet through Gogo is already available at the following US carriers: Virgin America, Delta, AirTran and American Airlines.
