If you’re active on Twitter and you follow airline accounts, you have probably noticed there’s an active KLM account updated daily with some fresh info. @KLMfan is an account maintained by a fan of the Dutch company, started long before the company took interest in social media. We’ve had the chance to ask Tim a few questions about his passion with KLM Royal Airlines. Here’s what we came up with.
Slammed by the French Labour Court, EasyJet will have to pay €1.5M
After a 3-year investigation years over the legal status of hundreds workers (170) based at Orly Airport, EasyJet was ordered to pay up to €1.5m to the French labour healthcare public body. The orange airline was more precisely “accused of failing to declare workers in Orly between June 2003 and December 2006”.

Ryanair about to launch its first social media campaign
Ryanair has announced to launch its first online community of loyal customers to step into the world of social world. As said by spokesman Stephen McNamara, the company has not gone into social media earlier because of the volume of customers it was dealing with which in turn would result into a fruitless social media experience.
